Step by Step Guide for Applying a License to Start-Up a Factory and Handicraft

Governing Regulation:

According to the law on administration and management of factory and handicraft,( English and Khmer )all factories or handicrafts are require to have permit/license from the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy or registration with the Provincial Department of Industry in case of some handicrafts.

To implement this regulation, the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy has issued a Prakas No. 607, dated July 22, 2009, ( English and Khmer )defining procedures and formalities to be fulfilled by the applicant prior issuance of the license or permit or registration of a factory start-up.
